Update on Moe!

Hey! I have a great update today on Moe, whom we named Chub-Chub back before he was sold. Moe now resides in Missoula where he lives with a beautiful family with whom he loves to take walks and explore the woods. Like our other saints, he survived the summer by playing in the sprinkler, and from what I’ve heard has been enjoying the snow this fall. Also like many of his siblings, he has been taking puppy obedience classes. You can tell just by looking at him that he has plenty of brains, so I’m sure he’s been acing them!

It looks like he is turning out really well! As of November 6th, he weighed around 95 lbs, so he’s going to be a big boy. He’s already so gorgeous!

I see some similarities between him and Koby…they both have perfect blazes and the same type of coat I think. So beautiful!

Bomber of course. Caught him sunning himself this morning and used it as a chance to capture a few shots of him. His fluffy winter coat is in and he looks great!

Goldie, on the other hand, is a bit more obliging when it comes to taking pictures, even if she did need me to help her hold still last night. Here she is on her bed in the barn. And still she looks so mopey…but please be aware that she is the perkiest, sweetest girl in the world and only puts on this face for pictures. It’s most likely because she doesn’t enjoy being told to hold still!

Yes, I love my dogs. They are my business as well as companions, but in all truth, I’m actually a CAT person! I have recently enjoyed the privilege of adopting this guy from our local shelter after months of waiting and searching for the perfect kitty. This summer I grieved the loss of my wonderful boy whom I had for ten years, but am happy to introduce you to this guy—

He doesn’t have a name yet, and I’m not entirely certain that he ever will. But he is just the perfect baby–big, sweet, cuddly, and lovable, with laziness and pinch of arrogance to balance everything out. He is purring next to me even as I write. So yes—I do breed St Bernards and have made it a part of my life and livelihood, but my love for cats and really all animals (except for chickens) is just as present. And I do so love my big handsome guy!

If you have read this far, thanks for putting up with my ramblings. And for my first time visitors, I am planning an upcoming litter in the spring and have a few spaces left on my waiting list for puppy takers. I have been asked by some waiting on my list if they can send a deposit now to hold a puppy. I don’t take any deposits until the puppies are born…I can’t guarantee there even being any puppies, so until they are here, please hold onto your money! And don’t hesitate to ask me any questions via email or in the comment section below. I have loved hearing from all of you! Thanks and God bless!
