PUPPIES AVAILABLE!

Hi there, I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I have special news today. We have three pups  available!! The litter was born August the fourth, and Goldie gave birth to four males and three females. Two males and one females are left. I’ll post their pictures and descriptions down below. If you’re interested in providing  one with a forever home, please contact me and I’ll get  back to you within the day. All three pups are very sweet and gentle and would make lovely family members. Thanks!

IMG_0994This sweet but dirty face belongs to Daisy, our final available female. She’s the smartest and most interactive out of the litter, and personally my favorite. She hasn’t been chosen yet due to the fact that her mask is substandard, so she’s waiting for a family that will overlook that and love her for her vibrant personality and loving nature.

This is Teddy.  He’s a shy, quiet boy who likes to  sit in the background and watch the rest of the litter. He’s so sweet and loving, and just loves to be gently held. And he has the cutest half moustache, which isn’t too visible in the picture. We love our Teddy.

IMG_0998

This is Bluto. He’s a great big boy that’s just like his daddy . Very sweet and mellow, like the others, and he has gorgeous markings. He’s going to be on the bigger side, with a straight fluffy coat like his dad. Very handsome and well behaved.

Thanks!! Let me know if you have any questions!  Tess

Our Fourth Litter

Hi! I can’t believe it’s been four weeks since the puppies were born. They were born on December the fourteenth, and the delivery lasted from the morning to the afternoon. We had four males and four females and they are all doing fabulously! They all have buyers and are traveling to new homes across the northwest region, one going all the way to Minnesota this time. Goldie has been doing so well…in fact, this was her easiest delivery and litter by far. Because of the frigid temperatures, the puppies have been living in our heated basement. So far everything has been straight forward and low stress, so I’m really happy. And now for some pictures!

Goldie’s face before the delivery. Poor girl.

She delivered in a plastic kiddie pool—I plan to use this method again if we ever have another litter!

It’s Been Awhile!

Hello there! I can’t believe it’s been about six months since I posted last, and I think the blog is definitely due for an update. Things have been crazy busy in my life since the puppies have been gone, and here we are expecting another litter in about a week. Now, I wasn’t planning this litter, and was hoping to have one during the next summer, but things happened and Goldie is nearing the end of the pregnancy. She’s doing very well and I’m hoping for a large litter! The waiting list is full, but if you’re interested in a pup, please let me know because in the past many potential buyers didn’t go through with actually getting a pup and so many that were waiting for a later litter were able to take their place.

Goldie is fabulous, as usual. You can see a huge difference in her coat since it has had eight months to grow out since we shaved her down before her last litter.

And my kitty because I love him.

Especially when he does yoga in his water dish lol.

That about sums it up! I hope to keep up with the posting now that I have the impending litter to post about. So exciting! As always, feel free to contact me if you have any questions! Tess

Week 7~~~

Hi All, thanks for stopping by! I can’t believe it’s been nearly a month since the last post—to say that time has flown would be an understatement, and I’m sure you can understand that it passes by much faster when there are puppies on hand! The puppies will be turning seven weeks old tomorrow, and so far everything has gone well and according to plan. I feel that we have a much better setup at our new property than we did at our previous home, and it has helped immensely with keeping things organized and the puppies exercised and in good condition.

The puppies will be leaving here shortly, and traveling to destinations around the northwest, one as far as Portland. Surprisingly, though, and in contrast to our previous litters, there are quite a few puppies actually staying in Montana this time! I’m looking forward to being able to maybe meeting up with a couple pups after they’ve left for their new homes.

For those of you interested in getting a St Bernard, I have one puppy still available, and I’ll attach her photos beneath. She’s a sweet, quiet girl, and looks and acts very much like her daddy. She’s by far one of my favorites out of the litter. If you’re interested in providing her with a forever home, I’d love to hear from you and can be contacted through the contact us page.

Enjoy the photos and thanks for checking in! I love hearing from my readers and so enjoy the emails you all send! Take care~~Tess

Here’s the pup that’s available. As you can see, Dolly is very much like Bomber—at least, I’m predicting that because of her markings and temperament, she’ll have his shaggy coat and laid-back attitude.

Puppies!

Hi All! Thanks for checking in. So sorry for the delay–it’s been quite a while since I’ve posted, but for a good reason. Life has been a little busier than normal, due to the arrival of the puppies! They will be three weeks old tomorrow, and are doing great! The puppies have been developing their sight and hearing, and their personalities are really starting to come out. It has been so much fun to watch them lately,  especially since they’ve discovered play fighting!

Goldie is also doing really well. She delivered on day 63 I think, which is nearly a week early for her! Because of the fact that I wasn’t expecting puppies to come so early, I was away from home when she began having them. It wasn’t until two puppies had been born that I finally made it back. However, she did super well on her own—she dragged her blanket outside her shed, dug a hole in the gravel (not where I would have preferred her to have given birth), and basically made a little nest for herself. The weather that day was in the 80’s and was absolutely gorgeous. She ended up having seven males and two females, all with great markings. I currently have three puppies available for purchase–both of the females and one male. The females are absolutely darling and have stolen our hearts, and the male is beautiful as well. Originally, all the puppies were spoken for, but because of changes in lifestyles and for other various reasons, three buyers decided to decline or to postpone their choosing a puppy until a future litter. So, if you’re interested in one of these puppies, let me know  and we can discuss it! Enjoy the pictures! Tess

Psalm 107:1 “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”

Day 1. If you’ve noticed Goldie looks a little different, aka shaggier and a little patchy, it’s because the day before she delivered we shaved her down, due to the heat and because it’s a pre-delivery routine for her.

Nearly three weeks old.

As usual, Bomber is wary of the puppies, but very interested. He never comes in to see them, but always waits for me outside, patiently and curiously listening to their puppy noises. Sometimes I take a puppy out for him to meet, as is shown here.

Two Weeks To Go!!

Hi! Thanks for checking in! Just a brief update on what’s going on here….currently, Goldie is due in about two weeks at the earliest. She usually goes a little later than 63 days, but I plan to be prepared for her delivery at any time starting then. The past few days have been rather uncomfortable ones for her—her size has really increased and with the warmer weather she hasn’t been too perky. She’s also been healing the past two days with a strained muscle in her leg or shoulder, and so has been a little stiff. All in all though, she’s a happy girl, as is her usual state when she’s pregnant.

April1

You can certainly see her increase in size since the last time I’ve posted. Look at that smile though :).

April2

Bomber prefers to hang out in the garage during the warmer weather.

April3

And a cat. Because we need cats in our lives.

April4

April5

So thanks for stopping by! I will try to update again before the puppies arrive. So exciting….I know it’s going to be a big litter. At least this time we get to deliver in warmer weather!

Just a few shots around the house..

Hi! Thanks for visiting. I know it’s been a long time since I’ve updated or shared any news, but a busy schedule and numerous illnesses have kept me from posting lately. However, things have slowed down and I’ve finally found a few minutes to post a couple pics of dogs and to share the news that Goldie is pregnant! We are so excited, as are those on my waiting list. She’s about 3 and a half weeks pregnant and is due in early May. I’m hoping for another large litter–last year she had 12, so she’ll probably have that same amount this year.

This is Goldie’s general disposition lately—she’s always been a happy girl when she’s expecting! She doesn’t miss a chance to show me her belly, which is growing bigger by the day.

That concludes today’s post. For all those on my waiting list, I’ll try to keep you updated on how things are going with Goldie. In the meantime, thanks for stopping by and Happy Easter!!

Buford!!!

Hey! Thanks for stopping by! Today I have a fun post on Buford–previously named Pugsley–who currently resides in Idaho with a sweet family who adores him. From what his mommy has told me and from the photos below, it’s easy to see why! She says he is a sweet, lovable guy whom their whole family loves and that he is getting quite hefty–108 lbs at the beginning of this month!

Here he is at nine weeks—wasn’t he a dolly and a half??

Jan6

While he certainly has Goldie’s curly coat and coloring, I can see some Bomber in him as well. He was so gentle and laid back as a puppy!

Jan7

And in case anyone is wondering…Saints make great dogs for children!

They are both so adorable!

Jan8

Jan9

His coat is so pretty.

Jan10

As for things going on around here, we have been at our busiest for various reasons. Life has been crazy, but I’ve managed to get a couple of shots of the dogs tonight and also of a gorgeous sunset!

Jan4

Russell, our basset hound. He and Bomber are best friends. We have this thing for tri-colored dogs…

Jan5

Annnnddddd my big handsome puppy. For all my potential buyers out there, Bomber never grew up or matured very much, so if you purchase a puppy from me you may end up with a puppy that stays a puppy…

Thanks again for visiting! Also, thank you to my readers who have kindly emailed and to those who are interested in providing a home for one of my puppies. As of now, my waiting list is full and overflowing, but please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to join the list, since many of those who join the list end up declining for multiple reasons. In other words, there’s still a good chance you could end up with a puppy at this point! Goldie is not in heat yet, but I’m hoping that next month she will be ready to be bred. All very exciting! Thanks again and God bless!

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year to all my readers! I hope you all had a great Christmas and are enjoying the new year. Tonight I’m featuring a puppy from the last litter we had who is now living with a wonderful family in Great Falls. Before known as Chewie (I think), Bolt now weighs at least 105 lbs, is very sociable and friendly with the neighbor dogs, and has been described by his family as being just a big teddy bear! He has also gone to Showdown twice and has proved himself to be a true mountain dog.

I see a stunning resemblance between him and Moe—you can definitely tell they are brothers! He is certainly a gorgeous dog and I’m so happy to hear that his family is enjoying his loving nature!

Happynewyear7

Of course, the mud.

Happynewyear6

Happynewyear9

I love seeing my puppies go home to such loving families!

Happynewyear8

This Christmas has been so beautiful, and I couldn’t resist sharing this photo I took a few days ago. Of course, the picture doesn’t do that particular moment justice, but…

Happynewyear5

And of course, the photo shoots with Bomber and Goldie. This time, I was able to get a few shots of all three of us in one picture–which is certainly rare! Both Bomber and Goldie have always been lap dogs, and always will be.

Happynewyear3

Goldie has been looking really pretty lately, especially now that her winter coat is so full and curly. She was behaving this particular night so I was able to get a couple shots of her without having to be in the same photo.

Happynewyear4

Happynewyear2 She is such a sweet girl….always eager to please!

Happynewyear1

Again, I’ve enjoyed the emails that have come in this month from my readers. I know some of you are interested in being put on my waiting list. I’m expecting Goldie to go into season next month, which means we should have puppies around early May. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments. God bless and have a happy New Year!

Update on Moe!

Hey! I have a great update today on Moe, whom we named Chub-Chub back before he was sold. Moe now resides in Missoula where he lives with a beautiful family with whom he loves to take walks and explore the woods. Like our other saints, he survived the summer by playing in the sprinkler, and from what I’ve heard has been enjoying the snow this fall. Also like many of his siblings, he has been taking puppy obedience classes. You can tell just by looking at him that he has plenty of brains, so I’m sure he’s been acing them!

It looks like he is turning out really well! As of November 6th, he weighed around 95 lbs, so he’s going to be a big boy. He’s already so gorgeous!

Moe1

I see some similarities between him and Koby…they both have perfect blazes and the same type of coat I think. So beautiful!

Moe2

Moe3

Moe4

Moe5

Bomber of course. Caught him sunning himself this morning and used it as a chance to capture a few shots of him. His fluffy winter coat is in and he looks great!

Boms1

Boms2

Goldie, on the other hand, is a bit more obliging when it comes to taking pictures, even if she did need me to help her hold still last night. Here she is on her bed in the barn. And still she looks so mopey…but please be aware that she is the perkiest, sweetest girl in the world and only puts on this face for pictures. It’s most likely because she doesn’t enjoy being told to hold still!

November post 2

Yes, I love my dogs. They are my business as well as companions, but in all truth, I’m actually a CAT person! I have recently enjoyed the privilege of adopting this guy from our local shelter after months of waiting and searching for the perfect kitty. This summer I grieved the loss of my wonderful boy whom I had for ten years, but am happy to introduce you to this guy—

November post 4

He doesn’t have a name yet, and I’m not entirely certain that he ever will. But he is just the perfect baby–big, sweet, cuddly, and lovable, with laziness and pinch of arrogance to balance everything out. He is purring next to me even as I write. So yes—I do breed St Bernards and have made it a part of my life and livelihood, but my love for cats and really all animals (except for chickens) is just as present. And I do so love my big handsome guy!

November post 1

If you have read this far, thanks for putting up with my ramblings. And for my first time visitors, I am planning an upcoming litter in the spring and have a few spaces left on my waiting list for puppy takers. I have been asked by some waiting on my list if they can send a deposit now to hold a puppy. I don’t take any deposits until the puppies are born…I can’t guarantee there even being any puppies, so until they are here, please hold onto your money! And don’t hesitate to ask me any questions via email or in the comment section below. I have loved hearing from all of you! Thanks and God bless!
